Patrick Meier
Patrick is doctoral fellow at the Harvard Humanitarian Initiative (HHI) and a PhD candidate at The Fletcher School, Tufts University. His dissertation focuses on how
repressive regimes and social resistance movements use ICTs to gain a strategic and tactical advantage. He is particularly interested in the intersection between digital activism and nonviolent action, and sees DigiActive as playing an important role in combining best practices from both fields. Patrick is an established consultant in the field of conflict early warning/response, having worked with major governmental and nongovernmental international organizations across Europe, Africa and Asia. He blogs at iRevolution.
