For many, a pushup can seem a bit difficult. Pressing up your body off of the ground with good form may seem like something very difficult to achieve. Doing 10 pushups with good form may seem like an impossibility. That being said, if you slowly work up to that number using smart progressions, you will most likely be able to reach that number 10. Once you do hit that number, you may even feel empowered to move further.
If doing a pushup seemed hard, doing even just one strict pullup can seem like a complete impossibility for some people. Many people struggle to do just a single pullup. A pullup requires great back strength, as well as a lower body fat percentage. While a lower body fat percentage is not necessary to do a pullup, any weight not used in the pulling action acts as dead weight, so having less body fat is beneficial. The bench press is a favorite among powerlifters and bodybuilders. Starting off in the bench press can be difficult, and progress can sometimes be slow. Thus, getting your bench press number up to your bodyweight might seem to be a big challenge. This may take some time, depending on your weight and strength levels as well. That being said, being able to bench your own bodyweight can bring a great moment of satisfaction. Make sure to follow a good progression and do not be afraid to take you time.
